On Sunday, February 2, 2014, the SJL Therapeutic Education and Management Learning Center (SJL TEAM) held its annual TEAM Surf in San Juan, La Union, Philippines. TEAM Surf is an annual free surfing experience event for children with special needs and their families. In its fourth year, the event joined forces with Carla Rowland of The Surf Institute (TSI), renowned surfboard shaper, Ian Zamora, along with local coaches, Junior Ventura, Jefferson Ganuelas, and Honeywell Baguio, of the ElYu Classic School of Surfing.
